Terry loves France and wishes that he moved here years ago, he now lives in Creuse in the Limousin region.

What made you move to France and how long have you lived here?
My love of France and all that's French.

Which part of France do you live in, and what's it like to live there?
I'm in the Limousin Creuse north area. I also have a home in the lot which is near Cahors.

I'm 62.

What was the worst mistake you made when buying in France?
Not buying and moving here years ago.

Your best tip or advice to other people considering moving to France?
Take off the rose tinted glasses ...try and stay a while in an area you are thinking of moving to by renting if possible and remember its so different in December to being here in July Try to visit as many areas as you can France is so different in many respects make sure its what you really want ..remember " a place in the sun"... will always show you the good side of life....

Did you find it hard to integrate or adjust to your new life in France and do you have any tips to help others?
Yes obviously its harder to move to a new country, even moving around the UK you have to settle, you just have to integrate as best you can. French people can be as stand offish as some Brits....I can't emphasize how trying to speak the language is also, try not to be showy just maintain a respectful air about you.

What's the best thing about living in France?
Everything is just so much better.

And the worst?
Maybe a few of the treats I was used too, but I think too many pluses out weigh the minuses.
