Lost in France was founded in 2005 by Helen Hotson with the aim of providing useful information to people living in France or buying French property. Since then Lost in France has grown and expanded enormously and is now one of several online travel and information sites.

Lost in France draws from a wealth of contributing authors with a huge knowledge of France, some of which are listed below.

John West - John trained as an Architect at Oxford School of Architecture. He has worked as an Architect in both public and private practices and has led a team of Architects and Technical Specialists which helped clients solve their building needs, both in the UK and Overseas.

Philippe Schreinemachers - Philippe is the owner of Philippe Schreinemachers SARL who specialise in providing a range of French insurance policies in English.

Helen Hotson - Helen has a wealth of knowledge and experience of living and working in France.

Martin Quirke FRICS - Martin is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Susan Busby - Susan has studied French law for several years and has a Masters degree in European law (specialising in French property, employment, company and contract law).
