SpeedFerries, the low cost fast ferry operator of the Channel, has announced that they have now launched a new foot passenger service between The Hoverport at the Western Docks in Dover and the port of Boulogne.

With a crossing time of only 50 minutes, exclusive port facilities on both sides of the Channel and no freight or coach traffic, foot passengers will experience a unique proposition from that of any other ferry operator.

Passengers will embark the SpeedFerries shuttle bus directly outside the Hoverport and then be transported onto SpeedOne where they will be able to enjoy the wide range of retail products and catering facilities onboard.

Upon arrival in Boulogne, foot passengers will be driven to a drop off point directly outside the port, only a short walk from the town centre. With an excellent array of restaurants, sites of historical interest, small boutiques and a newly opened casino; the town has genuine charm.

The service operates up to 6 crossings daily, with spaces for up to 16 passengers initially, departing from both Dover & Boulogne.
