The
popular English language newspaper the French News has gone into administration.
The paper was founded in 1987 but now sadly it seems to have become another
victim of the credit crunch.French News editor Miranda Neame has said that the company suffered financial difficulties in early October with cash flow problems preventing them from printing the December issue.
All creditors will be contacted by the administrator and Miranda suggests that subscribers form a group in order that their claim bears more weight amongst other creditors. She also thanks all readers of the French News for their support over the years.
