Any audio visual experts out there who are well up French TV. Has anybody tried TNT on satellite? There would seem to be only one receiver available. A Strong SRT 6420. Has anybody any experience of this box?

TNT & satellite broadcasts are not the same thing. However, you can get the same channels on both mediums.
May I ask what you are trying to achieve? A combination TNT & satellite receiver....? Or can't you get TNT where you are?

There's stuff about TV options no my website (button at the side).

The main question is "What do you want to watch?"
You can have TNT through your existing antenna from St Pern, Becherel or from Nantes.
You can have the TNT channels from Eutelsat for 4,90 euros per month. See www.bis.tv
You can have the TPS SAT package and the British freeview channels from Hotbird and Astra 28 using a motorised system and a single decoder.
For details about any of the above please post.

Thanks for thoughtful replies

My original idea was to have the Strong srt 6420 receiver to receive French TV in Scotland, (at present I use Atlantic Bird 5 degrees west), But I have now moved to a Flat where I cannot have my dish stuck to the wall.

At the moment my place in France has one dish which is pointing to Astra 2d for British TV. I was thinking of setting up another dish with the Strong receiver and card to pick up TNTSAT. But I have further thought that I have an Internet connection set up with Orange .fr. Is it possible to watch French TV with them.

Sorry for the tardy reply. It was the moving house very stressfull.

French Digital TV being available with your internet/ telephone and TV package depends on where you live.if you are remote probably not!! However Orange are supplying a sat receiver for those customers who cannot receive the TV with the internet package....
other than that 'TNT Sat' is the French equivalent   to the Freesat from Sky, box FTA Card for reception from Astra 1.
