I run a number of successful holiday rental websites in the South of France. We have been searching for the last 3 months to try and find a suitable business partner to help us further develop our website, in Provence & Cote d'Azur. But we have been spectacularly unsuccessful in finding suitable people and we don't know why because it is an amazing opportunity.

The website has 400 live properties, it is probably the best designed and technically most advanced website servicing the South of France. It is incredibly well-ranked by Google. What we need is someone who will help us develop it to the next level

Part of the issue is that this is not a job, we want people who will come in and invest their 'sweat equity' in the business for a full equity share in the business. The other issue is that we do need people with local knowledge of the South of France, previous e-commerce/online marketing experience and possibly some property sales/accommodation rental experience.

Does anybody know where or how we can find serious people in the South of France? Surely there must be someone who wants to work in the South of France!!

Hi Vincent

Thank you for your response. We are still looking for someone suitable. Our preference would be to find someone in Provence or Cote d'Azur to run Go South France. You could do it from Bordeaux, but it is a hell of a drive over to Cote d'Azur. 80% of our enquiries are from people looking for gites in Provence, St Tropez, Cannes, etc and you really need to have local knowledge.

I would however be interested in talking to you about creating a Go South West France covering Dordogne, Bordeaux and down to Biaritz. It would be a lot of work, but it is definitely do-able. If you are going to be based around Bordeaux it would make more sense. Perhaps have a think about it with your wife and Brother-in-Law and give me a call if you want to discuss it further +33 6 95 00 28 44
