It's too hot to sleep. They told me Brittany had a climate a bit like south west England damp - they lied, well not really it does rain a lot, sometimes for weeks on end.The last few weeks have been really hot, I can take the heat but the humidity gets to me, at the moment it's at 94%! So not being able to sleep I though I'd have a cup of tea and talk to myself on here.
Yesterday it was Bastille day, it reminded me of history lessons at school, I ended up spending the day thinking of 'let them eat cake' and 'off with their heads' do they still use the guillotine in France?
I've opened all the windows and now bugs & beasties are batting them selves against the light from the monitor. Some ugly black beetle like ones came in - not liking the look of them I was thinking of splatting one with a newspaper when it's tail glowed! a quick google proved them to be glow worms, so I've whiled away some time rescuing them. Getting a bit cooler now so back to bed for me.
